This Privacy Policy describes how Nailit ("Nailit", "we", "us", the "Service") collects, uses, stores and protects your information when you use the website nailittoday.com and the application (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Nailit is a platform for practicing and preparing for job interviews using artificial intelligence. You can reach us with any privacy question at nailitjobinterview@gmail.com or through our Contact page.
2. Information we collect
- Account details: full name and email address. When you sign up with a password, the password is stored encrypted by our authentication provider and is never visible to us. When you sign up with a Google account, we receive only your name and email address.
- Content you provide: answers to interview questions (text and/or voice recording), resumes you upload, and any other information you choose to enter.
- Usage data: actions within the Service, practice progress, device and browser type, and IP address — for operation, security and improvement.
- Payment data: payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not collect or store your credit card details; we receive only a confirmation of payment and subscription status.
3. How we use information
- To provide the Service — including analyzing your answers using artificial intelligence and producing tailored feedback.
- To manage your account, verify identity and process payments.
- To improve and develop the Service, monitor performance and prevent misuse and fraud.
- To communicate with you about the Service (signup confirmations, operational updates and support).
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Artificial intelligence
Your answers, as well as resumes you upload, are processed by AI engines (including Google Gemini services) to generate feedback and practice. The information is sent for processing but is not used for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties. Feedback is generated automatically, may contain inaccuracies, and does not constitute career, legal or professional advice.
5. Sharing information with third parties
We do not sell your personal information. We use trusted service providers ("data processors") that act on our behalf and under our instructions, including:
- Supabase — data storage, user authentication and infrastructure.
- Vercel — hosting of the website and application.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google — Google account sign-in and AI services.
- Resend — delivery of operational emails.
We may also disclose information if required by law, court order or competent authority, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
6. International data transfers
Some of our service providers operate outside your country (including in the United States and the European Union). Your use of the Service constitutes consent to the transfer and processing of information in these countries, subject to reasonable safeguards and applicable law.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage that are necessary to operate the Service — mainly to maintain your sign-in session and basic preferences, as well as aggregate usage data for improvement. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but this may impair the Service.
8. Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as required to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. You can delete your simulations, reports and data through your account settings, or request deletion of your account by contacting us. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legal defense.
9. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no security method is completely immune, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Minors
The Service is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will act to delete it.
11. Your rights
Subject to applicable privacy law (including the GDPR where applicable), you have the right to access your information, request its correction or deletion, and object to certain processing. 12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
